"Like many gamers, I originally was a bit skeptical about
a math "educational" game being fun. But after playing a few games
of Numbers League, I stand wholly corrected. It's very entertaining,
on several levels, and seems to be as appealing and re-playable to
kids as it is adults. "

"Numbers League is a game that succeeds where so many other
“math games” have failed. It provides a quick and fun gaming experience
with strong curricular connections while disguising math behind
colorful, quirky graphics and an enjoyable mechanic."

"Whenever I run through an edutainment game, I think of that episode of Spongebob Squarepants where he gets his car stolen. “Nothing will stop me – not even….EDUCATIONAL GAMING!!!! ARRRRRRGGGGHHH!” Let’s face facts - done incorrectly, edutainment is about as much fun for anyone as a bowl of bran flakes sprinkled with ExLax drenched in prune juice with a house full of broken toilets. And math games are doubly hard. Coming up with something that is fun, entertaining, and doesn’t make people want to go “This is hard, let’s go shopping.” isn’t easy. These games end up being either dry, mind numbing, or just plain bland. Bent Castle seems to have bucked this trend.

"We played Numbers League for the first time at the 2008 Toy Fair and were impressed for many reasons. Associating math with superheroes is a genius idea, since boys (and some girls!) are fascinated by this genre.
